Daniele De Benedetti has got premises both in Turin and Milan since January 1st 2016.
He did found D&M Legal since July 1st 2013 and left it on late December 31st 2015.
He has been previously partner, since 2001, at the Turin premises of Benessia Maccagno law firm. He did spend his traineeship at Balbo di Vinadio, Di Chio, Disegni law firm based in Turin, meanwhile attending some Summer mini pupillages at Lincoln's Inn at the Chambers of Jonathan Parker Q.C., and Blanco White Q.C..
He was admitted to the Turin Bar since 1994 and has been registered to practice before the Supreme Court and other superior Courts since 2007.
His practice focuses on Italian and international litigation and arbitration with special emphasis on insurance, corporate, bankruptcy and finance law. He also experienced in competition law and intellectual property rights.
He does list among his clients English Underwriters and Syndicates based in UK since 2005; and did advise Italian, German and French clients in cases held before the High Court in 2003-2009, liaising with former Barlow Lyde & Gilbert (nowadays Clyde & Co.)
Daniele De Benedetti did liaise with Reynold Porter Chamberlain LLP London branch giving assistance to English clients involved in cross-border litigation.
Prior to be admitted to the Turin Bar he did practise inter alia in USA at Pennie Edmonds, both in Washington D.C,. as well as in New York City, and in UK at Burges Salmon, member of Norton Rose Group based in Bristol.
He took in 1997 a Ph. D. in Comparative Law (with a dissertation on the protection of moral rights in the Common Law systems) and did publish on prominent law reviews as well as on juridical Italian encyclopedia. He is active too with the UIA (Union Internationale des Avocats) in the litigation department and is chairman for the Piedmont Division of UIA Italian branch.
